Radiating an aura of coolness, confidence, and captivation, the emerging generation seldom graces the stage with the same charisma, a hallmark of this crowd-pleaser masterminded by Icelandic choreographer Ásrún Magnúsdóttir and directed by Alexander Roberts. Comprising teenagers between the ages of 15 and 20, with half originating from Hamburg, they melodiously explore themes of butterflies in stomachs, heartbreak, intimacy, and gender. Through self-penned lyrics and pop compositions collaboratively created with both their team and Icelandic musician Teitur Magnússon, they afford an intimate insight into the romantic and emotional facets of their generation. Their renditions, staged with meticulous artistry, are not only for their own expression but also for 'every virgin, every slut, and every thirsty bitch'—erasing the burden of solitude. This sentiment extends to the audience as well, who exit the theater with an uncommonly profound sense of joy and emotional resonance.
