After a break due to corona, this legendary karaoke show finally also returns to Summer Festival. With BUBBLE BATH HOUSE, the Queereeoké collective celebrates the queer takeover of a public space and combines glamour with the grotesque. Here, the showerhead is swapped for a pair of real microphones to belt out your favorite hits from the stage, dolled up and in the style of New York’s legendary bathhouse and gay club Continental Bath. With a mix of activism, mainstream subversion, vocal passion, fluidity and a safe nightlife atmosphere, Queereeoké has been selling out the Kampnagel club for over a decade. Regardless of gender, age, skin color and sexuality, people drink, sing, dance and flirt together. Proceeds at the door go to queer projects around the world. Queer subculture at it’s best!
