Inspired by Wedekind’s »Spring Awakening« and E.L. James’ erotic novel »50 Shades of Grey,« the Berlin collective She She Pop stages a cycle of paintings. On two large displays, the old, the young, the male and the female present themselves in alternating poses as different generations and genders, real bodies and fantastical monstrosities, strategic authenticity and naïve imagination. An ars erotica for the stage!
