Where do the pressure to work and the push for efficiency lead? When does labor make a person happy and sensitive – and when does it create a hamster in a wheel who learns how to enjoy himself using only 10 percent of his brain capacity to avoid c oming out of his or her routine? In their fourth work together, intergenerational Hamburg collective SKART / Masters of the Universe dissects our society’s work ethic in a flashily impressive manner that is as surreal as it is analytical, centering on the different generations’ perspectives on idleness.
