This is the eighth time that the “French Evening” has been held at the Hamburg Crime Thriller Festival, and it's a small success story.

In “Provençal Tide”, Hamburg author Sophie Bonnet has a diver die at the beginning, investigator Pierre Durand discovers the man, but by then it is already too late. A mysterious death, because the dead man was the head of a diving school. Which is why the emergency doctor has doubts about the accident hypothesis ...

Château Richelme is an exclusive Provençal wine estate. As a camera drone flies over the vines, it accidentally films a woman lying lifeless in the garrigue. But suddenly the stranger in Cay Rademacher's “Ominous Lançon” has disappeared again.

In Pierre Lagrange's “Dark Provence”, a dead hiker, a well-known real estate mogul, is found. Are his dubious dealings connected to his death? Then a clue lands with ex-commissaire Albin Leclerc. Apparently there is a serial offender behind it who is challenging Albin.
