MY DOCUMENTS is a program, created and curated by Lola Arias, in which artists from different backgrounds present lecture performances, based on personal research, a radical experience or a story that secretly obsesses them.
Unfortunately the originally planned lecture performance by Tania Bruguera cannot take place, so now it’s your turn! We want to showcase you and your personal archives for seven minutes in a mini format of »My Documents«. All you have to do to apply is to send until Thursday 18th of June, 20:00 CEST the follwing materials to shareyourscreens@gmail.com

Participation in the event takes place via the software Zoom by which the audience can see the performance live, make comments and exchange visions and insights afterwards. At the same time, the show can also be followed in the livestream.
In DESIRELESS (BEFORE PARADING YOURSELF AS HERETIC) Tania Bruguera, visual artist and activist from Havana, Cuba, will reconstruct the story of her mother -who recently died- and her country through the things she found in her mother’s house. ¨When my mom died I discovered she was a compulsive keeper. The anxiety created over the years of scarcity made her keep whatever could be potentially useful. I have taken all the objects she kept to go over them one by one while narrating all the things I remember she told me, in an effort to remember as much as possible of all she wanted me to know¨.
