In »Wenn Gott schläft«, the director Till Schauder creates a portrait of the Iranian singer and rapper Shahin Najafi, whom he accompanied with a camera for four years. In 2012, an event drew a lot of attention and was reported in the world media: Shahin Najafi released the satirical song »Naghi«, which led to a fatwa being released against him that ordered his death.
