EU summit in Brussels: the heads of state and government rush into the European building under a flurry of flashbulbs. An important meeting is about to take place; nothing less than the secure and peaceful future of Europe is at stake. But on the way to the meeting room, the elevator suddenly breaks down and the politicians get stuck. Fortunately, a youth group happens to be on site and can step in. Together, they have to decipher the secret documents and formulate the summit's final declaration. A race against time begins...

This is the fictitious scenario of "Unlock Europe - The Escape Game on Peace and Security in Europe". The escape game combines fun with thematic knowledge and practical skills for democratic and peaceful coexistence. The focus is on peace and security policy challenges and future issues in four areas: Trade and healthcare, climate security and environmental protection, diplomacy and border conflicts as well as social media and democracy.
