VICTORIA HAUKE / CHRIS LECHNER: VISIONS OF IAN WATERMANN

In this two-part dance evening, Hamburg choreographer Victoria Hauke and her artist colleague Chris Lechner examine the human body in the interplay between solid and fluid states. In part one, two dancers move waist-deep in tanks in the ‘countryside’– the stage. In part two of the evening, the audience is taken along to the Stadtparksee outdoor pool. There they meet eight dancers in ‘fascial a-synchronised swimming’ creating a swarm-like, ancient futuristic water monkey cult.
