Immanuel Kant: »Zum Ewigen Frieden«
Wars and conflicts are all too present. How is peace possible in a world that has once again become increasingly bipolar? In 1795, Kant published his philosophical outline ETERNAL PEACE. The text had a major influence on the development of international law and was also the model for the founding of the League of Nations and the United Nations. But above all, Kant always sees politics as having a role to play. Politics must ensure peace and not the military.
In an annotated text installation by Fabian Lettow (kainkollektiv), ETERNAL PEACE will be made audible, critically scrutinised for its topicality and made tangible in its vision as part of this reading. Prominent voices from the arts, sport and society will be present:
- Marina Abramovic (performance artist, on video)
- Amelie Deuflhard (Artistic Director Kampnagel)
- Heinrich Horwitz (director, choreographer and performer)
- Charly Hübner (actor and director)
- Barbara Nüsse (actress)
- Tanja Scholz (gold medallist in para-swimming at the 2024 Paralympics, Paris)
- and many more
The proceeds from this charity event will go to "Doctors Without Borders" and "Reporters Without Borders".
