Music for children – excitingly different
The festival offers young people all over Kampnagel unusual sounds and adventurous musical experiences. Many musicians combine their music with juggling, literature, video, cooking, puppetry, painting and electronics in 39 performances. Here opera, new music and jazz meet and it sounds - wonderful! Of course, the guests are also allowed to explore sound installations and instruments themselves and make them sound. And that's not all: there is music from all over the world for free and outside!
Young people from all over Hamburg form our team of reporters. They interview artists, festival guests and the organisers of the "klangfest". They take a critical look at what they have experienced. The reports and videos can be experienced immediately after the "klangfest" on the website www.klangfest.de.
Organised by Kinder Kinder e.V. in cooperation with the Elbphilharmonie, the NDR Bigband, the Ohrlotsen - Motte e.V., Kampnagel, the HASPA Music Foundation, the Alabama Kino and the Staatliche Jugendmusikschule Hamburg.
