Nordwind Festival

The cultural landscape of the Nordic countries is strong, diverse and inventive. It surprises again and again with bold experiments and proud radicalism. The NORDWIND festival takes place for the first time at Kampnagel and presents the most interesting artists from the countries of Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Estonia with theatre, dance, music and visual arts. As an encore, there will be talks, sauna and Nordic specialities.

In Hamburg, the festival opens on the Finnish bank holidays on 6 December with new productions by the Finnish star director Kristian Smeds and the newcomer group Nya Rampen from Helsinki, which was awarded the Impulse Prize this summer.
