A collage of 5 photos of Jan Plewka: a white man with bald head and short beard during concerts. Sometimes in front of a blue, green or red background, Jan sings into his microphone with a lot of expression, wearing a feather boa, disco ball or beige suit

With Jan Plewka's Rio Reiser evening, the then Schauspielhaus artistic director Tom Stromberg produced a repertory hit that toured German-speaking Europe for years. In 2013, the two refreshed their relationship at the relaunch of the Kampnagel Summer Festival and in the following years brought concert productions to the Kampnagel stages, which are still regularly revived in the Kampnagel season and made Stromberg the Kampnagel house director. Stromberg designed theatrical settings with a lot of audience interaction for Selig singer Jan Plewka and his musician friends, who then covered well-known songs – but freed crooners, classics and favorite pieces from historical ballast and turned them into authentic Plewka songs. PLEWKA TOTAL! now gathers four different evenings from the collaboration with theater player Tom Stromberg as a mini-festival with many guests for the festive season.
