Crip Art Now!
What is "Crip Art Now!"?
CRIP ART NOW! is a group of artists.
They meet once a month.
The meetings are at Kampnagel.
Who can take part?
- Artists who dance, do circus, do theater, paint, design or make other art.
- Artists with disabilities and their allies.
You say “Allies” like this: Al-lies.
“Allies” means: supporter.
Allies are people without disabilities who support people with disabilites.
- Artists who are affected by other forms of discrimination.
Discrimination is: Some people do not treat other people equally. That is not fair.
What are we fighting for?
The Crip Art Now! group is fighting for these goals together:
Artists with and without disabilities should be able to work together without any barriers.
Art by people with disabilities should be presented and respected the same as all other art.
