[K] to go

Explore the anniversary on the app

The [k] to go app was developed during the pandemic to continue to give you reasons to visit the Kampnagel site. To mark Kampnagel’s 40th anniversary, we asked Kampnagel employees about their best anecdotes, most formative encounters, and most memorable art experiences, resulting in a very special app-tour.

  • [k] to go app: Start at the cash desk / piazza, markings on the floor trigger the videos.
  • Tip: Prepare app and video download with stable internet
  • Current content: House of Brownies, God's Entertainment: Europe to go (German / English), Anniversary Tour in German (mostly) / Agents of History
  • The app content is currently only available in German. We are currently working on an update of the app, which will soon be available in English as well.

The operation is simple:

Tour:

  1. Install or open the app.
  2. Select the desired tour under PROGRAM and DOWNLOAD.
  3. Here's a tip: To save mobile data, download the tours on your home Wi-Fi or use our free hotspot "[k] to go" at this location. The password is "kampnagel".
  4. Then press the START button and point the camera at a [k] to go floor marker.
  5. As soon as the app has recognized the marker, the augmented reality performance begins. The mute function of the smartphone should be deactivated in order to hear the sound as well.
