Accessibility information at Abhishek Thapar: Lacuna Kitchen

LACUNA KITCHEN is an explicitly participatory format. The audience is asked to participate. Consideration is given to physical and other impairments, but mere spectatorship is not possible. Audience members will be asked to stretch, then rinse off, change tablecloths, mop floors, etc. So parts of the floor may be wet and slippery at times, warning signs will indicate this.
As it progresses, participation is more in the form of conversation and eating together at the table. The public will be invited to share a meal. The menu is plant-based and the use of foods to which allergic reactions are common (e.g., peanuts) will be avoided. However, no (or very limited) consideration can be given to individual diets during the performance.
