The Gym: Trauma & Self-Regulation with hugo x tibiriçá

Trauma can be defined as our body's response to an overwhelming experience that impairs our ability to self-regulate from the perspective of the nervous system. With the intention of deepening our understanding of the impairment caused by traumatic events, as well as restoring and expanding our bodies' capacity for self-regulation, hugo x tibiriçá creates a space to explore somatic practices through somatic experiencing. This workshop is not meant to be a substitute for therapy or a place to process specific traumatic events, but a space for sharing knowledge and skills on trauma and self-regulation.
