In the upcoming season, Kampnagel begins a major renovation to make the production house future-ready and rethink working conditions for the independent arts. “Never demolish, always add, transform or reuse” – the credo of Lacaton & Vassal mirrors Kampnagel’s approach: shaping the future with awareness of the past. After a welcome by architect and urban planner Karin Loosen, a panel with Lacaton & Vassal, Benjamin Foerster-Baldenius, Sibylle Peters, Thomas Walter, and artistic director Amelie Deuflhard explores construction sites as spaces of change, creativity, and collaboration.
