Adam Linder's choreographies combine innovative approaches to movement, virtuosity and performativity, breaking with conventions and renewing classical dance. In his new production TOURNAMENT, which celebrates its world premiere at Kampnagel, the soloist ensemble Kaleidoskop and international dancers come together in a choreography that questions and challenges the historical harmony of music and dance to the specially composed score by Ethan Braun. Inspired by the roots of classical music and dance, Linders, Brauns and Kaleidoskop's work fuses technical perfection with daring artistic experimentation. TOURNAMENT questions the myth of harmonious unity and explores competition, devotion and coexistence on our big stage, which becomes an impressive playing field.
