The Ballets Russes’ 1917 »Parade« – a congenial collaboration between Jean Cocteau, Pablo Picasso, Léonide Massine and Erik Satie – is seen as modernity’s arrival on the theater stage. Adam Linder’s PARADE was singled out with an invitation to German Dance Platform 2016: His reinterpretation of the piece as a contemporary »corporate ballet« uses the current imperatives of advertising and entertainment spectacle as a starting point.
