A one-week residency was offered as part of Fokus Tanz. Disabled artists from the field of dance who live in Germany were eligible to apply. The two artists Andzejus Voroneckis (Hamburg) and Geli Strahl (Hildesheim) applied together and were awarded the residency! Andzejus Voroneckis is a deaf artist and works in the field of dance and posie, Geli Strahl works as a freelance actress, dance and theater teacher and is hard of hearing. The residency is about the interplay of dance and poetry, choreographic work with sign language and the question of what happens when the music follows the movement and not the other way around. We are delighted that the artists also want to give the audience a little insight.
