Annual conference of the dramaturgischen Gesellschaft [dg]

The association Dramaturgische Gesellschaft (dg) brings together theatre makers from across the German-speaking world and serves as a think tank for the exchange of ideas on artistic work, the further development of aesthetics and production methods, and the social function of theatre. Under the title TIME TO CARE the dg is planning a conference that responds to the current political backlash and understands the topic of “care” as an act of solidarity in the cultural sector. With this conference, dg is taking a decisive stand for the visibility, appreciation and promotion of inclusive art and culture, as well as for the rights of disabled, Deaf and chronically ill artists. Disabled performing artists and their allies are warmly invited to be part of this conference and help to shape it.
