Over the past six months, eight young dancers from different dance styles have come together to learn from and dance with each other. The idea behind the BOTTOM UP DANCE SCHOOL is to try out new forms of artistic training and to create a transition from training to the independent scene through joint exchange and workshops with international choreographers and experts, from impulses for new dance techniques or composition methods to funding applications and networking. The BOTTOM UP DANCE SCHOOL will conclude with performances by the participants, which will be presented in a joint evening.

By and with Marino Ariza, Romain Robert, Yunseo Sunny Choi, Akshatha Ramesh, Angelina Gekman, Ann-Sophie Johne, Annika Faescke

Supported by the Hamburg Ministry of Culture and Media and the Hamburgische Kulturstiftung.
