Sevdah, otherwise known as ‘the Bosnian Fado’ represents the kind of melancholy love songs that were previously sung in the Ottoman Empire. Bozo Vreco flouts ethnic boundaries when, as a Bosnian Serb, he devotes himself to Sevdah, the music of Bosnian Muslims. The passionate musician and self-educated man breaks yet another taboo, which up until now was non-negotiable in the Balkans. He refuses to define his sexuality and plays with notions of femininity and masculinity on stage.

After the concert Vernesa Berbo and the Balkan Boys are playing a concert at 21:30h in kmh (ticket for both shows: 22 euro)
