Looking for meaning? Become part of the experiment!

With TRUTH, German-Danish duo toaspern|moeller, together with Kristin Stabostad, invite the audience to explore how collective truths are created.

Somewhere between a band performance, guru meditation, and demagoguery, The Demo Tape becomes an experimental work in progress about the search for meaning, community, and the question of why we believe what we believe. Through music, movement, and voice, the performance explores how beliefs are formed and spread – and how trust can turn into manipulation.

A game of charisma, seduction, and power in which the audience itself becomes part of the experiment.

Founded in 2020 by dancer-choreographer Alma Toaspern and singer-composer Mathias Monrad Møller, the duo has developed a distinctive interdisciplinary practice combining choreography, voice and contemporary music. Their recent artistic upcoming trajectory spans five works: The Combat (2020), ERNST (2023), LIEBE (2024),  __plex (2025) and TRUTH (2027), each expanding their artistic language and exploring tensions between belief and reason, obedience and freedom, intimacy and power, as well as the individual and contemporary media culture.
