TOM is the latest production by London duo BULLYACHE. It blends the myth of Orpheus with the British Department Work and Pensions, presenting a dizzying pop cultural collision of working class and queer expression. With self-produced live music as well as the interweaving of dance, theater and visual arts, TOM oscillates between genres, between hyper-speed pop, ambient waves and auto-tune vocals. TOM is a transgressive queer thriller, an eternal wait for a pageant that never begins, dissecting the high price of existence, in a world that demands too much. The duo BULLYACHE, founded by friends and artists Courtney Deyn and Jacob Samuel, is currently one of the UK’s most sought-after up-and-coming artists.
