CHUCK MORRIS, BERLIN / ZÜRICH Chuck Morris work with theory, choreography and performance. Chuck Morris look at the world through the cultural glasses of white, western, well-educated middle class women. Chuck Morris signifies the perpetual engagement with the double body as an attempt to disintegrate the individual identity of the artist.

JOSEP CABALLERO GARCIA, BERLIN The Spanish dancer and choreographer has danced with the likes of Pina Bausch’s company and Toula Limnaios. He has been choreographing his own works since 2003, regularly working with children and adolescents. Most recently he searched for dance beyond gender and the potential of memory gaps in the Tanzfond Erbe Projekt NO [’RAIT] OF SPRING.

SHEENA MCGRANDLES, BERLIN Irish performer Sheena McGrandles was choreographer in residence at K3 in Hamburg. She sees the body as having the potential to create spaces that deal with the physical moment of performance. They interact with each other as theatre, exhibitions and social spaces.

With PITCHING – originally a format used by the film industry, in which film projects are presented to potentially interested parties in a short time – ten choreographers have been selected by the jury to present their artistic works to international dance professionals in 20 minutes.
