The exhibition CONSCIOUS AND COLLECTIVE LOVE by former MK&G resident Mawuto Dotou is entering its second round at Kampnagel. What do we mean by care and love in a community and how do we live it?

The communication designer poses these questions together with other artists from Germany and Togo in the exhibition project. The result is a collectively designed meeting place that shows short documentaries, posters, places of exchange and photographs of communities, skate, ballroom and other queer communities.

Dotou's design concepts and participatory formats combine education, charity and activism with design. Mawuto Dotou is the seventh resident in the funding program Fonds für Junges Design of the Stiftung Hamburger Kunstsammlungen (SHK).
