In Hamburg-Ohlsdorf, Woermannsweg, Woermannsstieg and Justus-Strandes-Weg honor colonial actors. Already in 2019, the district North has decided to rename the three streets – nothing has happened since then! In a symbolic action on site, the working group HAMBURG POSTKOLONIAL will rename the street that honours the colonial merchant Adolph Woermann. In the future, the streets in Hamburg North should honor anti-colonial resistance fighters instead of colonial profiteers.

Organizers: Arbeitskreis HAMBURG POSTKOLONIAL – Black Community for Justice and Self-defense – in Kooperation mit Kampnagel
