Dillon’s album, which was released on BPitch Control, an electronic label, hit a nerve with the Club Generation: minimal techno in the guise of songs, in which Dillon’s slightly hung-over girl’s voice floats over prepared keyboards with liquid-cold beats. The minimalist’s latest attempt at maximization is the inclusion of a choir, which, she says, creates a further level »that breathes between the electronic one and me.«
