AFRO PRIDE is a new club night brought to you by the Migrantpolitan Community. AFRO PRIDE represents DJ WAXS’ vision of a more just clubbing landscape: opening its arms to a queer and non-white public, this intersectional dance party will feature all the best in Afrobeat and global sounds that are missing from Hamburg’s queer club scene. AFRO PRIDE showcases selected local and international DJs that will strengthen the city’s queer community by raising inclusivity and joining together communities. At AFRO PRIDE, everyone can find a home, express their own personal style, and practise radical togetherness – with mutual respect and shamelessly good dancefloor moves.
