The great French composer Éliane Radigue is an acclaimed pioneer of electronic music for decades. She is writing instrumental works exclusively since 2000. Her music is characterized by long, slowly evolving sounds and an instinct for finest nuances; a »subtle sound world fashioned from breath, pulsation, beating, murmurs and radiant harmonics.« klub katarakt presents pieces from her new large cycle Occam Ocean, performed by Carol Robinson, Julia Eckhardt, and Rhodri Davies. In addition a commissioned new trio which will be premiered by musicians of the katarakt network.
