Esa Kirkkopelto

Esa Kirkkopelto is the convenor of the collective Other Spaces, philosopher and a professor for artistic research at the University of the Arts Helsinki. His artistic research practice deals with questions concerning non-anthropocentric performance and the deconstruction of the Western tradition of performer training. His lecture will reflect on the ethical and political significance of encountering non-human species in contemporary performance practice.
