Hajusom / JAJAJA

In JUMP INTO THE VOID, the Hamburg-based ensemble Hajusom and the collective JAJAJA explore acrobatics as a strategy of solidarity. As an embodiment of trust, cooperation and joint endeavour, the performers engage in an acrobatic practice that can generate enough resilience to form the necessary collective resources for future challenges. The experimental acrobatic performance presents the participants with an exciting visionary task: How can the necessary strength be built up without the pressure to perform? How many risks are the individuals within the community prepared to take? JUMP INTO THE VOID is an invitation to step out of the wheel of meritocracy. For all those who become aware of the gaps: between cultures, everyday realities and attitudes, in order to test the leap into the unknown.
