A raised, wooden cottage rises against a light blue sky. The little house has a pointed roof and a small balcony on which a black man is standing, stretching his fist forward. Leaves of trees protrude from the edge of the picture.

How can new bridges, new relationships be built out of the experience of separation and loss, out of rubble and ruins in one’s own life stories – on a planet ruined by man and his destructive systems of power? The transnational ensemble Hajusom consists of experts for this task, and the artist group Soeurs Doga from Burkina Faso, with whom Hajusom has resumed a collaboration that had collapsed in the meantime, can also relate. After an abysmal, symbolic farewell to the old, ruinous world, both groups rely directly on their bodies for their new start. They encounter each other purely, without devices, without attributions. The Soeurs Doga, two singers from Burkina, provide live and together with the Hamburg electro musician Viktor Marek a soundtrack that flies all the way to Ouaga, to the group around the performer Mimpamba Thomas Combari, who is connected via video. The new bridge is a warm space for exchange and contact: diverse levels can be heard and seen simultaneously, parallel cosms and realities that co-exist - the vision of a world in which everything is connected.
