Two collectives – Hamburg’s music and performance shamans HGich.T and Vienna’s theatrical trailblazers God’s Entertainment – clash, and in combining their artistic styles create an alternative model to new people. The basis for their shared performance examination is the deconstruction of futuristic opera, ‘Sieg über die Sonne’ (‘Victory over the sun’). They are not consciously dealing with the transportation of detached content, rather with the generation of an analogue aesthetic form, a psychoactive state. As part of the negotiation of significance, anarchic live events and the cross-over of art forms including video, music, action-painting, Hartz-4-Poesie and Goa create a feeling of extreme intensity. Not least of all, this completely unique and powerful performance holds political potential: Goa as social practice.
