HipHop Academy

On the occasion of its 15th anniversary, the HipHop Academy is presenting a glamorous GALA at Kampnagel for the tenth time. Under the artistic direction of Kadir »Amigo« Memiş and the choreography of Nadja Häussler and Ben Wichert, the students of the MasterClass and top-class guests from the scene will explore the questions of how to deal with everyday racism and what individual forms of resistance can look like. In the supporting programme, young up-and-coming artists from the Hip Hop Academy from Level 1 to 3 will present their own interpretations of this theme. For this year's 15th anniversary, hip hop legend Kadir »Amigo« Memiş (co-founder of the Flying Steps) is the artistic director of the project and combines the various genres into a moving, full-length stage show.
