HipHop Academy

In the 50th anniversary year of the world’s largest youth culture, which originated in 1973 in the Bronx, more than 100 students of the HipHop Academy in Hamburg show excerpts of the different eras of HipHop history. In different genres like Rap, Breaking, Graffiti and DJing as well as HipHop Dance and Vocal the young artists interpret HipHop History & Zeitgeist in energetic stage shows. In two parts, a pre-show of the different levels of the Hip Hop Academy and a musical theater piece of the Masterclass, the audience will experience a time travel through HipHop culture, from its beginnings to the future. HipHop - and we don’t stop!
