“Why me? Let the others start!“ Under the direction of Evangelos Sargantzo and artistic direction of Franklyn Kakyire, the HipHop Academy presents a music-dance theatre about responsibility, democracy and sustainability. Around 100 students from the HipHop Academy Hamburg use dance and music to show what happens when no one takes the first step. The production RESPONSIBILITY encourages people to think about the consequences of their own actions or “non-actions“ and shows: Democracy thrives on participation, taking responsibility and active behaviour – not just for oneself, but for the community and the environment.
