For many queer people, grief means not only loss, but also experiences of exclusion and social rupture. As part of an artistic research residency, the Hamburg collective House of Brownies explored queer and marginalised perspectives on grief. The result is a video installation that gives space to collective experiences and at the same time celebrates life. The research into different mourning practices is combined in the showing into a ritual of text, music and dance that makes processes of loss, resilience and transformation tangible.
