Gazino Neukölln

As a queer-feminist band from Berlin, Gazino Neukölln draws inspiration from the Turkish gazino culture of the 1930s to the 1980s, one of the most significant nightlife scenes with a queer vibe. Inspired by this, the band creates a glamorous, kitsch and exciting atmosphere that blends musical genres from various geographical locations. In doing so, they reinterpret Turkish and international pop and Arabesque hits, stripping the lyrics of sexist, homophobic and transphobic content.
