Mohammad Mostafa Heydarian

Mohammad Mostafa Heydarian, born in Kermanshah in 2002, is a tanbur player and composer whose music is rooted in the sacred tradition of the Yarsan. His style ranges from spiritual Kurdish-Iranian ritual music and improvised instrumental music to contemporary influences. He gained international recognition with his debut album “Songs of Horaman”. This was followed in 2023 by “Noor-e Vojood”, on which the musician presents his musical message of love in times of war.
