JAJAJA

Hamburg performance gang JAJAJA has performed itself into the hearts and ears of the festival visitors in the past years, most recently with RADIO ATOPIA at the Summer Festival 2018. Now, atopists Iris Minich and Arvild J. Baud together with their crew are preparing for the decision point with RAUMSCHIFF ATOPIA: Should we save the earth or leave it? What keeps us here and what awaits us? The JAJAJAs collect answers to these questions from artists, festival visitors and other mortals in a space camp open to visitors on special occasions. Out of these encounters, the JAJAJAs will create the experimental TV show RAUMSCHIFF ATOPIA TV, which will be broadcasted in a space lounge in the Kampnagel foyer. In addition and on the weekends, the current episodes will also be set to music live in the Festival Avant-Garden – under the direction of conductor Arvild J. Baud with invited musicians and wireless headphones for visitors. And for the kids, who are of course also to be recruited, there will be film workshops during the weekends.
