The British musician James Holden has been an established figure in the sprawlinglandscape of electronic music since the early 2000s. He combines experimental sounds with the knowledge of the British rave culture of former times to create contemporary psychedelics between ecstatic club nights and private after hours. In addition to numerous singles and albums, which Holden regularly releases on his own quality label »Border Community«, he has refined pieces by artists such as Depeche Mode, New Order or Madonna with his musical signature in over 200 remixes. Holden’s latest project was created together with the Polish jazz minimalist Wacław Zimpel, who has already worked with such diverse musicians as Joe McPhee and Shackleton.
