Jamie Stewart ( Xiu Xiu)

Jamie Stewart is driven by art. In the past two years, in addition to regular albums (most recently »Forget«), he recorded and toured with an impressive Twin Peaks soundtrack tribute with the schizoid pop band XiuXiu, initiated the HEXA project with the drone/ambient artist Lawrence English and created a theater piece with the performer and director Susanne Sachse. In 2018, he wants to calm down a bit, but a break is not really an option for him – so he is going to play a few selected solo concerts with reduced versions of XiuXiu songs; just Steward’s voice and an electric guitar.
