Jewish-Muslim Culture: Yasemin Shooman

In her keynote, Yasemin Shooman traces the history of Jewish-Muslim relations in Europe and shows that the narratives and mechanisms of exclusion were often similar and ultimately have always been a question of visibility. In a subsequent panel, she will discuss with Hannah Tzuberi and Nahed Samour strategies for overwriting homogenous narratives of identity and division and contrasting them with resistant positions of Jewish-Muslim solidarity.
