Kriðpleir Theatre Group

CRISIS MEETING is the fourth work in a series that the Islandic Kriðpleir Theatre Group is developing about their four members’ lives and (artistic) characters. After three very promising pieces, suddenly doubts arose. The energy was gone. The author Ragnar Bragason went into therapy, the musician Árni Vilhjálmsson took further education courses and the performer Friðgeir Einarsson got lost in meditation. Then they finally met for an emergency meeting. CRISIS MEETING is simultaneously theater, performance and cabaret about the work processes in art and the empathy among performers who are constantly working to create interaction with the audience and are untiring in their efforts to communicate about complicated subjects in an entertaining way.
