TikTok, Instagram und Co versus TV, Radio und Zeitungen - wie der veränderte Medien-Konsum die Generationen spaltet

It’s obvious: the under-30 generation gets its information from completely different sources than older people. The Tagesschau, newspapers, and radio are losing importance, while social media shapes the public discourse. This also changes conversations about politics, the economy, and culture; it deepens the generational divide and influences voting decisions. How can barriers to digital media be reduced for older people? How can quality journalism, credibility, and the reliability of sources be safeguarded? And how can more complex topics be made understandable and appealing for young people?
The Kulturforum Hamburg and DJV Nord invite you to a panel discussion with:
Melissa Körner, Social-Media-Redakteurin Tagesschau
Dr. Claas Schüddekopf (Leiter des Amtes Medien in der Behörde für Kultur und Medien)
Dr. Christian Stöcker (Professor für Digitale Kommunikation, HAW Hamburg)
Dominique Lars Ziesemer (Geschäftsführer der ARD Unterhaltungs-Koordination)
Moderation: Franziska Herrmann (Journalistin)
