Not only Thalia Theater, but also the State Opera in Hamburg will have a new artistic direction: Tobias Kratzer. And just at a time when the new building donated by Kühne is causing lively discussions about pros and cons! Kratzer is a director of both music drama and theatre. He has staged productions in Munich, Berlin, Bremen, Lucerne, Graz, Nice and other cities. His 2019 production of “Tannhäuser” in Bayreuth attracted particular attention and great acclaim. Now the future opera director is a guest at Kampnagel at the invitation of KULTURFORUM. The panel discussion, during which Kratzer will talk about his motives and plans, will be followed by a discussion with the audience.
