An audio walk in which the participants embark on an adventurous journey that turns into an odyssey - for the whole of humanity.
The participants in the new audio walk for one person each from LIGNA become Ulysses. Without map and compass, ship and crew, they set off on an adventurous odyssey. A program called »Ulysses 2.0« shows them the way – following more chance than a precise location. The path becomes a walk of deviation and coincidence. The goal is to get lost, to stray from the path and to encounter unknown things. And with their own steps through the city, each spectator writes their own story. On unknown paths, the play becomes the walk of the entire humanity. What are the new myths in the age of the Anthropocene? Can we still move earth and sky, or is a shipwreck inevitable? How can the species survive together? The new work of the Hamburg performance group deals with the connections between climate and corona crisis – and with new possibilities after the forced break.
The audience members go on a 60-minute walk with starting times between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m. on the festival days. The walk starts with the distribution of headphones and equipment at the Lohmühlenpark playhouse - a round house to reach best from the park entrance at the corner of Bülaustraße/ Knorrestraße, close to the bus station »AK St. Georg« (e.g. with Bus number 17 from Kampnagel).
Please remember that you are outdoors and dress accordingly.
